Trip to London
We're going to London! On our programma is a combination of ballet and opera in the Royal Opera House. Transport and accomodation are not included in the trips. Next to the performances, we will organise a visit to a museum and a dinner.

Dagtrip Brussel: Turandot in De Munt
Traditions are there to adhere to.This year, too, we head to our Brussels colleagues at La Monnaie for their last opera production of 2024, for which we were able to secure tickets at a special Friends' price. With Fanny and Alexander, De Munt is venturing into an ambitious opera reworking of the lauded gem of Swedish cinema; a whole new creation directed by Ivo van Hove and with new music by composer Mikael Karlsson and librettist Royce Vavrek.

Meet and greet met Berlinde De Bruyckere en Alain Platel
In het kader van de Biënnale in Venetië, palmt Berlinde De Bruyckere op haar eentje de Abbazia di San Giorgio Maggiore in. Speciaal voor de vrienden keert ze nog even terug naar Opera Antwerpen voor een ontmoeting rondom de boom die ze ontwierp voor Ombra. Regisseur Alain Platel en Berlinde vertellen hoe hun samenwerking tot stand kwam. Nadien kunnen we als eerste de boom van nabij bekijken in een museale setting.
