David Ledger
Dancer
The British dancer David Ledger was trained at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. After graduating in 2010, Ledger joined Nederlands Danstheater 2, where he danced until 2014. The following year, Ledger joined Wim Vandekeybus/Ultima Vez for the creation of works including the performance Speak Low if You Speak Love. Ledger has done research for the theatre company DV8 Physical Theater and he regularly works in the film and advertising industry. Ledger has been part of the Opera Ballet Vlaanderen company since the 2022-2023 season. He made his OBV debut with Tempus Fugit by Johan Inger. In 2023 he danced in Creature, choreographed by Akram Khan, One Flat Thing, reproduced by William Forsythe and New Ballet mécanique by Richard Siegal.*
