Tiemen Bormans

The Belgian dancer Tiemen Bormans graduated from the Royal Ballet School in Antwerp in 2017. As a student he already danced with Opera Ballet Vlaanderen in Marcia Haydée's Doornroosje and Yuri Grigorovich's Spartacus. From the 2018-2019 season, Bormans has been part of the OBV company, where he has danced in works by Pina Bausch, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and William Forsythe, among others. In the 2021-2022 season, Bormans performed in Giselle by Akram Khan and danced in the world premiering creations Palmos by Andonis Foniadakis and Futur proche by Jan Martens. In 2023 he danced in Akram Khan's Creature, One Flat Thing, reproduced by William Forsythe and the creation New Ballet mécanique by Richard Siegal.
