The director of this new production of La Juive is the German Peter Konwitschny, the éminence grise of the German director’s theatre. The role of the Jew Eleazar is performed alternately by tenor Roberto Saccà and the French tenor Jean-Pierre Furlan. And we shall once again be treating our audience to one of the very best conductors of the French repertoire: Tomáš Netopil, who conducted the acclaimed production of Samson et Dalila in 2009.

Coproduction with Nationaltheater Mannheim
