Two orchestras, one large opera chorus, a panoply of soloists, 2 conductors, the entire corps de ballet, a large stage, a small army of technicians and an ever-growing field of folding chairs: for the kick-off of the classical music season in Antwerp, they pull out all the stops.
Saturday 3 September 8.30 p.m.
While ballet fans have to be ever quicker before seats in the theatre sell out, Royal Ballet Flanders offers a sublime sampling of their repertoire live on a city square: established choreographies or works in progress, anything goes.
