The Dutch baritone Thomas Oliemans is rapidly conquering all the major stages worldwide. Not only does his wonderful voice enchant, his interpretations are also characterised by great stylistic refinement and precise diction.
At the side of 'living piano legend' Malcolm Martineau, he brings us one of the cornerstones of the German romantic Lieder repertoire: Die schöne Müllerin by Franz Schubert. His recital has already been postponed twice due to the lockdowns, but this third time in the context of Antwerp LiedFest will definitely be the lucky one.
