During Open Monument Day, you will not only hear about the history of our special building, but also dive into an exciting tour behind the scenes. Our staff will passionately tell you everything about their job in order to produce unforgettable performances.

In addition, we welcome Steenmeijer Architects and Fenikx. They conducted extensive historical research as part of the planned restoration and renovation of the Opera Ghent. Come and hear their findings on the building history and the spectacular results of the colour study of our salons.
