The common thread in this concert with the students of the International Opera Academy is the catchy Hollywooder Liederbuch that Hanns Eisler wrote as a German composer in American exile during the Second World War. Romantic Lieder by Franz Schubert and Hugo Wolf, among others, will also be featured in this semi-staged Utopia about home and exile.
