A vocal-instrumental triptych in which dreams and fairy tales are given free rein: romantic Lieder by Richard Strauss, the enchanting, exotically tinted Songs of a Fairy-tale Princess by Karol Szymanowski and the wonderful, lyrical Trio in A minor, opus 188 for oboe, horn and piano by Carl Reinecke.
