The French-Japanese Sarah Hochster was born in Tokyo. Sarah Hochster studied at the Tokyo Ballet School and later at Rosella Hightower Ballet School in Cannes until 2007 en from 2007 to 2008 she was part of the Cannes Jeunes Ballet, both under the artistic direction of Monique Loudières. She was engaged at Theater Ulm in 2008-2009, Staatstheater Meiningen/Eisenach from 2009-2011, at the Ballet de l’Opéra national du Rhin from 2011-2015 and the Leipziger Ballett 2015-2017. She danced works from o.a. Uwe Scholz, William Forsythe, Johan Inger, Maurice Béjart, Benjamin Millepied and in Don Quichotte of Marius Petipa / Rui Lopes Graca. Starting season 2017-2018 she is a member of the Corps de ballet of Ballet Flanders.
