Could you use a friendly push to dance or move creatively? Our dancers Lateef and Zoë offer a safe place where you can develop your style with others. Experience is not required.
Dancers Zoe and Lateef from the ballet company of Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, will give a series of dance workshops in March and April 2023 for which you can register for free. Zoe and Lateef will take you into the studio on an inspiring journey of dance and music. The goal? To encourage creativity and connection and provide a safe place for self-development. They draw inspiration from the work of American top dancer and choreographer Jermaine Maurice Spivey.
You don't need professional dance or ballet experience. Everyone is welcome to participate. There are workshops for 14-18 year olds and for +18-year-olds. Participation is free of charge. The workshops are in English but translation to Dutch is possible.

OBV dancers Zoë and Lateef draw inspiration for this workshop from the work of American dancer and choreographer Jermaine Spivey. He works around dance and music from black African culture. His work will later be staged at Opera Ballet Vlaanderen.
