Composer Wim Henderickx is convinced that opera is for everyone. In addition to the seven soloists and a 24-strong chorus from Opera Ballet Flanders, he drummed up 50 extra people for De bekeerlinge. And so the Antwerp city choir came into existence.. Expect a dazzling performance.
Director Hans Op de Beeck is rehearsing hard with the cast for the premiere on 10 May. In between, the city choir and Wim Henderickx warm up their voices with tomatensala, tomatensala (tomato salade tomato salad)! Can you sing along?
