Wim Vandekeybus deploys a rich arsenal of resources in PUUR, in his characteristic manner. In the back of the stage, a super-8 film tells the story of infanticide. The cast of 13 dancers and an actor find themselves in some kind of hereafter. An afterlife, where the cruel memory of the tragedy is still present, but also softened by the distance. Everyone can talk to each other again. Mothers can dance with their murdered children, the father meets his son.
