Viktor Banka is born in Budapest (Hungary) in 1989. He studied at the Hungarian Dance Academy from 1999 until 2008. After he graduated, he started at the Hungarian National Ballet, where he stayed until 2012. Then he joined the Polish National Ballet, where he became half soloist (2014). He danced pieces from choreographers such as Maurice Béjart, William Forsythe and John Cranko. He also created some pieces of his own, like Sans Titre, which won first prize at the International Choreographer Competition Bytom (2006). For the Polish National Ballet he created Around Us (2013) en Murmuration (2014). In 2016 he joined the Royal Ballet of Flanders as a member of the corps de ballet.
